New to the collection: Kindlers Literatur Lexikon

Kindlers Literatur Lexikon is a comprehensive German-language encyclopedia of world literature from antiquity to the present time — “the most important works of all time.”  The term ‘literature’ is broadly used; authors and their works represent all fields and disciplines, including mathematics and the natural sciences, medicine, social sciences, law, business, history, art and music, and literature.  Kindlers is renowned for its descriptive articles on more than 13,000 separate works, biographical sketches, and bibliographic references, the end product of work by a team of  1,300 scholars.

UBC has the new 18-volume Kindlers Literatur Lexikon in its reference collection and online as well.
